Investing in our planet..
We're planting over 1700 trees!
In the next couple of weeks we will be adding to our rich woodland ecosystem...
AND fundraising for humanitarian aid for the Ukraine crisis.
Planting trees are a key solutions to the climate crisis, they're natural carbon capture and storage machines, absorbing carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere then locking it up for centuries.
Not only do they help with capturing carbon but they also provide a valuable habitat for the abundance of wildlife that we share the Earth with.
We'll be planting a whole new woodland of trees, using 18 different species of trees and shrubs all native to the UK to offer benefits to the wildlife in different ways. From grandfather oak trees to cherry trees and various different types of nut trees, The Croft Farm Escape is helping to improve biodiversity - and we'll be fit for foraging in years to come!

To coincide with this huge project, we are raising funds for the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine.
Since the start of the conflict in Ukraine, our friends at Dragon and NOXAID have been transporting medical goods, food, and clothing to various locations in Ukraine including hospitals, schools, soldiers on the front-line, hospital fields and isolated people in the war zone.
You can take a look at NOXAID's work here
If you want to become a part of this Friendly Forest at The Croft Farm Escape, you can donate using the button below which will:
- plant a tree in your name - donate to NOXAIDs effort in Ukraine
A donation of any amount will plant a tree that tackles climate change AND help those in need in Ukraine.
The money raised from planting trees will go to provide evacuation vehicles, medical supplies, protective clothing, food and other essential supplies for those in need.
Whether it's a little or a lot - buy a tree and do your bit.
New Barn Accommodation
The newly renovated barn accomodation is complete!
With two beautiful separate dwellings named 'The Cow Shed & The Stables' Our new accommodation brings you a retreat space.
The Croft Farm is founded on Land of Outstanding Beauty. Nestled amongst whimsical woodlands to one side, with views of the rolling hills of Great Gaddesden to the other. Perfectly situated on the doorstep of two National Parks, with hot-tubs and a whole array of exciting places nearby to keep you entertained.
It's a space designed for people to escape the fast-paced, digitalised modern world, and reconnect with themselves and each other - facilitated by Mother Nature. A staycation space for people to slow down, enjoy, breathe pure air, and make memories to cherish.
The glampsite has been built using reclaimed materials - by re-purposing waste from construction sites, it helps to decrease the huge amount which is sent to landfill every year. This eco-conscious attitude drives the ambition to adopt solutions for rain-water harvesting, renewable energy, and eventually a circular-space.
